Hidden object psychological horror game
Observer Protocol: The Station - Second Shift is a premium adventure game by BuderWorks. It is the second entry to the Observer Protocol: The Station trilogy. It picks up where the original left off, with players delving into the deeper parts of an eerie space station. They will explore new rooms and try to identify new anomalies in this psychological horror experience.
Deep space surveillance
Observer Protocol: The Station - Second Shift picks up where the first game left off, and will have you monitor and survey a new section of the space station, with additional locations and environments to see. Sticking to the hidden object gameplay, you will inspect each surveillance feed to check for strange anomalies. Failure to identify any of them will increase the risk of having them slip inside the station.
This time around, a new gameplay mechanic has been introduced in that if you watch and ponder on anomalies too long, they will start reacting to you, and this will lead to a wide range of unpredictable behaviors. As a side note, this is intended as a standalone experience, so you don’t really need to have played the first game to enjoy it. That said, the gameplay is rather short, though.
Atmospheric and eerie
To sum up, Observer Protocol: The Station - Second Shift is a solid hidden object mystery horror adventure. From its minimalistic design to the atmospheric vibes, it’s a great follow-up to the first game in the series. You can even enjoy it as it is, since it can be treated as a unique experience in and of itself. Give it a try now.
